OPERA PRIMA FEATURE FILMS

The first narrative feature-length film by a Latin American director produced in Latin America, the Spanish-speaking Caribbean, United States, Spain or Portugal, which has been released no more than eighteen months prior to the Festival.

***Qualifying films selected will compete for PLAFF’s top honor, the OPERA PRIMA AWARD.

Narrative Feature Films

Feature-length narrative films produced in Latin America, the Spanish-speaking Caribbean, United States, Spain or Portugal by Latin-American directors or producers.

***Feature-length narrative films released within 18 months prior to the Festival, will be eligible to compete for our BEST FEATURE FILM AWARD.

Narrative Short Films

Short narrative films produced in Latin America, the Spanish-speaking Caribbean, United States, Spain or Portugal by Latin-American directors or producers.
